Monochromatic Rainbow

Welcome to the second contest of WeLoveBoyLove! With our theme of "Monochromatic Rainbow", we hope to bring a little colour and a lot of boylove to the group this summer! To explain the theme real quickly, allow me to begin by defining a few things:

mon·o·chrome /'mänə,krōm/
Adjective: Consisting of or displaying images in varying tones of only one color.

rain·bow /'rān,bō/
Noun: A wide range or variety of related and typically colorful things.

Now that we've got those definition in mind, allow me to explain how our theme shall apply to your entries: You are to select one colour from the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, or pink) and use only (or at least mainly) varying shades of that colour in your work. To help further explain what we are looking for, I have gathered together several examples of acceptable entries under the theme of the contest.

Now that you've got the gist of the theme, here are all of the rules, deadline information, prizes for first through third place, and (eventually) entries into the contest.

All entries must be new and original deviations created specifically for this contest.
All entries must abide by both DeviantArt and group rules.
Each participant may submit up to two entries.
Each entry must contain/depict at least two (male, original) characters in a boylove theme.
Entries may be drawings, comics, stories, poems, or even photographs.
Entries may not be stamps, icons, avatars, emoticons, or other graphics.
Unsuitable entries will be rejected from the contest, but not the group.
Entries must state that they are for weloveboylove's contest in the artist's comment.
Entries will be submitted to regular folders, and copied to the Holidays & Contests folders by the staff.
